1. Agreement

By accessing this website or using any services provided by How4you Canine (“we”, “us”, “our”), you (“the Client”) agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

 

2. Our Services

How4you Canine provides professional dog walking services, including group walks, early and late walks, and additional services such as home visits and pet taxi services for regular customers only.

3. Bookings & Payments

• Bookings are confirmed once payment or written confirmation has been received.

• Payment terms will be agreed prior to services starting.

• Prices may change at any time, but confirmed bookings will remain at the agreed rate.

Cancellations:

We currently do not charge cancellation fees, however we kindly request as much notice as possible so we can manage our schedule fairly.

 

4. Client Responsibilities

By using our services, you confirm that:

• You are the legal owner or authorised carer of the dog

• Your dog is in good health and fit for exercise

• Your dog is up to date with vaccinations and parasite prevention (flea, tick, worming)

• You will disclose any behavioural issues, aggression, anxiety, medical conditions, or special requirements

 

• Failure to provide accurate or complete information may result in refusal or suspension of services.

 

5. Behaviour & Group Walks

• All dogs are assessed before joining group walks.

• Dogs showing unsafe or aggressive behaviour may be excluded from group walks.

• Dogs will only be walked off-lead where assessed as safe and where owner consent has been provided.

• We reserve the right to manage dogs in a way we believe is safest at all times.

 

6. Health, Safety & Risk

Dog walking involves inherent risks. While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure safety:

• Participation in our services is at your own risk

• You remain responsible for your dog’s behaviour at all times

• How4you Canine is not liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage caused by your dog, except where caused by proven negligence

We strongly recommend that all dogs are covered by appropriate pet insurance, including third-party liability.

 

7. Emergency Veterinary Care

In the event of illness or injury while in our care:

• We will attempt to contact you as soon as possible

• If urgent treatment is required, we may seek veterinary care at the nearest available practice

• You agree to be responsible for all veterinary costs incurred

 

8. Keys & Property Access

Where home access is required:

• Keys and access details will be kept securely

• You are responsible for ensuring safe and secure access

• How4you Canine is not responsible for issues arising from faulty locks, alarms, or access systems

 

9. Weather & Force Majeure

We reserve the right to modify, shorten, or cancel walks due to extreme weather, unsafe conditions, illness, or circumstances beyond our control. Your dog’s safety will always be prioritised.

 

10. Media (Photo & Video) Consent

By using our services, you grant permission for photos or videos of your dog to be used on our website, social media, or marketing materials.

If you do not wish for your dog to appear in media, please notify us in writing.

 

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, branding, and logos — is the property of How4you Canine and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

 

12. Website Use

You agree not to misuse this website, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with its functionality. We reserve the right to restrict access if these terms are breached.

 

13. Privacy & Data Protection

Personal data is collected and processed in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. We only collect information necessary to provide our services and communicate with you.

 

14. Limitation of Liability
